TCR#108 & Cardsと愚痴あり。

Hello!
My husband gave me a day off work today(we work together) so I got to be a full time housewife doing things that I normally do at home...
I was secretly planning on doing a little bit of crafting but by the time I sat down, it was already time to go and pick the kids up from Pre-school!!
......I wasn't surprised.
I knew the day off wasn't really for crafting!


Here is this week's TCR Palette.

And this is what I made.

Again this week I used flowers from ManorHouse Creations. I know the LO is very simple which is very unlike me but I wanted to do something different.
And I am quite liking the outcome.

And one more for this week using a ManorHouse flower.
Here is the mother's day card made for my mother-in -law.
I know I am a nice daughter-in-law!
Trust me I can be.

こんばんは。 カラールームです。
先日ブログの更新も頻繁にがんばる。とか言っておきながら また1週間経ちました。

じ・か・ん・がーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーない。

今日は、ボス＝オットが仕事の休みをくれたので、家で家事をして気づいたら子供たちのお迎えの時間だったーー！ っていうありがちなパターンです。

今週で最後のManorHouse Creationsの花使用です。
デカイ花は使うのが難しくて、この今月最後のレイアウトは反抗してシンプルなのにしました。
でも、なんかスポンサーの方に申し訳ない。と思い、
残っていた「これでもか！」とデカい花(ここだけの話し、全然好みではない）でカードを作りました。
（年中反抗期のくせに実はイヤです。とか言えなかったり、反抗後、後ろめたくなる小心者タイプ。誰か助けて。）

そんなタイプなので、チカのサッカーチームのマネージャーを務めることになり（誰もすると言わず悲しい空気だったので、「します。」と言ってしまった。パターン）
そして、必要以上に張り切ってしまうタイプ。

そんなタイプなので、先日も何故か子守り(5歳と10歳の男子）をさせられ、
チカと菊を合わせて4人の子供が家の中で暴れたので、
公園に連れて行きました。（雨の中）

で、このいきさつが、こうです。（ここから愚痴）

チカの友達のお母さんから日曜日に、
息子が(チカと同い年）チカと遊びたい。
という電話があって、(実はちょっと苦手な人）
ほんなら一緒に遊びましょう。ってなったのですが、

あたなの家に行くわ。ってなって、(決められて）
じゃあ11時ね。ってなって、(決められて）

えーーー、30分で来るー。ってなって大急ぎで途中だった掃除機かけて、
片付けて、
ほんで、11時ぴったりにお母さんと息子さんが来たのはええけどよ、
上の息子（10歳）同伴。
ほんで、自分は買い物に行きたいから、3時ごろ迎えにくるわ。

ってさらーっと言うたーーーーーーーーーーーーー！！

うそーーーーーーーーーーーーーーーん！！ってなったわ。

まあ、そこでわたしもさすがに「えっ？」ってなって、
「今11時で、3時まで？」ってわざとらしく腕時計を見て反抗したのですが(弱々しいわ）

なんか知らん間に勢いに押されて、気づいたら子供ら4人家の中。
しかも、クッションの投げ合いはじめて、
菊は男たちに仲間はずれにされ、（ありがち）
とにかく、ほんなら・・・ランチ作るわ。
で、パンケーキ大量に作って、食べて、
ほんで、ここで3時までどうするよ。ってなって、
小雨の降る中、公園に連れて行きました。
しかも、菊は行く途中走りすぎて咳き込んでゲロを吐き、
ベビーカー、ゲロまみれ。

ってゆうか、子供預けてわたし買い物に行くわ。とか普通言える？
しかも、4時間。

けど、そのお母さん前にもいきなり家に来て、
息子がチカと遊びたい。っていう理由で、
ほんで、息子うちに置いて自分は家に帰ったーーー。
っていう。

今後の教訓：そのお母さんから遠ざかる。
今度電話がかかってきたら、「今から出かける」と言う。
家に突然来たら、「今から出かける。」と言う。

オット曰く、「わたしが悪い。」
きっと、そうなんだろう。と思います。


わたしは別に「いい人」を装っているわけではないのですが、
いざとなってなんとなく断れない。
じゃあ・・・、わたしがするわ。ってなってしまうタイプです。
こんな感じの人って、ふくよかな人に多くない？

わたしじゃ。


そしてこの上のカードはお義母さまへの母の日カードです。

嫌いな花使ったーーーー！（当然のように）
鬼嫁と呼んで下さい。
義母とは知り合って11年、未だうまくいっておりません。

明日はチカの初のサッカーの試合で、 試合時間30分間なのにもかかわらず、30分以上車で走って現地に行く。っていう。。
しかも、朝8時集合。って。
しかも寒いーーー。

あまり熱くなりすぎないよう、チカにプレッシャーをかけない程度に
叫びます。

そして今夜は早めに床に入ります。
9時ごろ。早っ！

shimmerz からこれです。

写真はわたしの足の上に乗って飛行機になる娘です。(寝る前に何回かさせられるのが習慣）
下からカメラを構えました。

I used some shimmerz products below and gesso.

I just love these bright colours together and they work so well amongst each other.

先日のShimmerzのブログで Roberta Cardoni さんが掲載していた記事をみて（こちら）ワオーん！となりました。思い立ったが吉日。


Wow! That was my first reaction to it.
I was so inspired by what she'd done and I wanted to try it myself.
I also thought that I could involve my kids who'd love to get their hands dirty with "the stuff" their mama doesn't usually share with them.

ので、さっそくわたしもうるさい子供たちと共に挑戦しました。(彼女は1人でしたに違いないけど）

So off we go..

The kids absolutely loved "it". (Wow! can we use these?  really?)
And I enjoyed making it, too. Thank you to Roberta!

これは、手作りテープで紙の裏は両面テープを貼っています。

Hello. I hope you all have had a good week.
Here is this week's TCR Palette.
I straight away knew which photo I was going to use when I saw this colour combo.

こんにちは。今週は遅れることなくカラールームです。
ブログを書くのが遅くなってしまうだけで、今月いっぱい4月のページ4枚は先月中に出来上がっていました。
このエレガントなパレット赤と黒と茶色＝海賊。です。

And this is what I made.
これを作りました。

The big black flower from Manor House Creations was actually painted black by me.
I totally enjoyed making this LO.
Lots of paint always makes me happy!!:))

黒の花は白だったものを黒に塗りました。

自由に塗りたくって気分爽快です。

只今こちらは秋休み（？）中です。
子供たちと思う存分じゃれ合って、夜、寝落ち度上昇中。

Here is this week's TCR Palette.

わーー、出遅れました。カラールームです。
こんばんは。

For the entire April, we are sponsored by ManorHouse Creations so I will be using their beautiful flowers.

今月いっぱいは、ManorHouse Creationsのフラワーを使います。

This is what I made.

これです。

As I hadn’t been using big-ish flowers on my layouts lately (or no flowers at all) I struggled with them. I just didn’t know where to place them or what to do with them!
Anyway, here it is and I thought the photo of Chels was a perfect match for this sweet palette.

デカデカしい花をどう使ってよいかわからず、困りました。
こんな優しい色の組合わせなので、もっと女らしく作りたかったのですが、
色気が足りんかった。わたしの。

For the background, I sprayed Shimmerz mist (Heidi-ho Blue) on all over the paper and applied some gesso with my favourite tool, palette knife. Then I used a butterfly stencil to make the patterns.
I love making my own paper pattern!

背景は、ミストを全体に振り、その上からジェッソを加えました。
わたしの大親友、パレットナイフを使います。常に一緒。手をつないでトイレも一緒。

その後、ちょうちょのステンシルでパターンを作りました。
背景紙を自分で作るのがスキです。

TCR#105 & Shimmerz!!

Hello Hello.
This is pre-posted so when it gets uploaded,  I will be on an Easter Holiday, visiting the Zoo. It's about 6 hour drive and will probably take us to get there 8 -9 hours as we will be stopping at some palces on the way. It's a loooooong way to see the animals....
But but I very much prefer a Zoo to a fun fair type of thing where there are rides and more rides.
Even going on a little kiddo train makes me feel sick...
What’s with me? Is it just old age catching up on me?

この記事がアップされるときは、イースターホリディで、
車で多分8時間から9時間かけて動物園に向かっている途中だと思います。
とりあえず、遠すぎるやろ。

I'd like to share an LO which I made with TCR Palette #105 and some shimmerz products.

これを作りました。

I have used
Coloringz Heidi-Ho-Blue
Shimmeringz Baby's Breath
PEARLZ Powder Puff

to create the blue flower which was once all white.

白い花にスプレーして青にして、

For the background,
I painted with acrylic brown paint first then
I used:
VIBEZ Hot Fudge,
VIBEZ Rolling in the Hay
Shimmerz Coffee

背景は、茶色の絵の具を適当に塗リたくり、その後上記のミストを振りました。

During the process of making this Layout, I encountered the most horrifying sight! LOL

がーーー、絵の具を乾かしている途中に、

菊が勝手に澄ました顔して座ってたーー。
しかも、はぎれをわたしの「はぎれ箱」から取り出し、ペーパーの上（まだ茶色の絵の具べっとべと）にきれいに並べた後でした。

Chels had been putting scraps of paper onto my still very wet paper.
I nearly had a heart attack ( I am not kidding)
However, I must’ve recovered rather quickly from a shock and managed to have a little sense of humor to take a shot of her looking ever so proud.
She said “Mama, I am helping you.”
How could I not smile at her?

見つけた時は、恐怖で心臓が止まるかと思いましたが、
お手伝いよ。と言われ、ひきつった顔が緩み、
写真を撮ってしまったというわけです。

PMB#18と手作り粘土。

It's Sunday.
I was going to take the kids to the park but it started to rain so instead, we made Playdough and had a fun hour or so... what's next to fill the rest of the day?

なんて、すがすがしいさわやかで優しい感じが漂う画像。
なのにもかかわらずーーー、

My page ended up rather opposite to this gentle and soft image above...

Yep, I know it's very bright.
It's all over the place.
I know it is a MESS.

こんな派手派手しいページ。
実際、ペーパーは真っ白ではなく、どこのメーカーか忘れてしまいましたが（というか全然見てない）パターンペーパーだったのですが、上からいろいろこのように塗ったり、振ったり、あぶったり(塩コショウ忘れずに）してしまいました。

The actual paper I used is a patterned paper which I have no idea of the brand's name.
I am never so fussy about what they are or what company they belong to.
It's either the brand of "I like it" or "Not".
Anyway, as you can see... I used lots of paint, shimmerz products, crayons and gesso.
Using all these wet supplies makes me feel somehow very much alive.
I feel that it is real me running wild on a paper freely.

しかも、紙使用は背景紙のみ。っていう。
パターンペーパーって結構使い道のアイデアが浮かばなかったり、
しかもペーパー全体に模様ーーー！ってなっていたら、
しかも、あんまり好みの模様じゃないし、って時、（なぜ、買う？）
思い切って自分で模様を作ってみる。
という作戦です。
