TCR#119 & Luna park

Hello hello. Just when I thought my cold was going away, it looks like I've got it again...
It's the time of the year.. hopefully it won't get worse than it is now.

ここ最近、早寝を心がけています。就寝時刻午後6時。（早寝すぎる）
昨晩は9時に寝ました。やっと風邪から脱出気味だったのにもかかわらず、またのどが痛い。
風邪の治りが悪いのも、歳のせいでしょうか・・

I am one of the lucky ones to get my hand on Karola's papers from this months' sponsor Scrapcake.
Here is the card I made with her papers.

ご存知でない方はいらっしゃらないと思いますが、有名なKarola'sさんデザインのペーパーを使わせて頂きました。今月のスポンサーは、Scrapcakeです。

I'd already made a page earlier before I had Karola's papers.

Karolaさんのペーパーは使っていませんが、レイアウトも作りました。

The photo was taken in Aug 2010, nearly 2 years ago. It is one of my very favourite pictures. I don't think I've ever scrapped this photo before...I don't use the same photo twice as for me every page is not so much of ART but more of "Memory".  Does that make sense?

この写真は2年前の8月に撮ったものなのですが、クロップしていなかったので（多分してないと思う。。）しました。
わたしはお気に入りの写真でも同じものを、よっぽどのことがない限り2度使いません。（そんなよっぽどのことってなんなん？）
スクラップブッキングを「アート」としている方もいれば、あくまでも「成長過程の記録」としている人もいるだろうし、またはその中間だったり。
人それぞれやり方はいろいろあって、決まりがない分もちろんなんだっていいのですが、自分の中での決まりが、「写真は1回きり。」です。
（決まりとか言いながら、自由自在に変えたりとかするくせに。）

ここからは日常になるのですが、ルナパークに行ってきました。

Last Tuesday we went to Luna Park.

The weather forecast said it was definitely going to rain. I checked it on the internet and TV so many times hoping they'd change their mind. (They’re not going to change the weather for me I know..) But we decided to go ahead with our plan to go to Luna Park as it was the only day we could go during this winter holiday. The kids had been so looking forward to it so it HAD TO happen anyway. I prepared for the rain, packing extra clothing, shoes, towels and chocolate to cheer me up :p

天気予報では雨じゃ雨じゃ、降水確率も高いと言っていたのですが、この日しか行ける日がなかったし、子供たちが楽しみにしていたので、着替えの服とか靴とかタオルとか、雨でぬれた時に自分を励ますためのチョコレートとかを準備して行って来ました。

It did NOT rain! not even a drip. See they changed the weather for ME. not..

It was a good day, I mean it was a fabulous day!!!

けど、雨、一滴も降らんかったし。

去年来た時に比べてチカは背が伸びて、「怖い」乗り物にも乗れたのですが、本人は「幼児向け」乗り物で大満足でした。

怖い乗り物も、結局は大人が同伴じゃないと乗れないのですが、実はわたしたち夫婦、そんな乗り物が非常に苦手です。わたしは、メリーゴーランドでも目回ってしんどかった。っていう。
普通にいつも行く公園に行って、ブランコをちょっとこいでもなんか頭の中がぐるぐるしてくるし、子供たちがぐるぐる回る遊具に乗ってぐるぐるなっているのを見るだけで、自分もぐるぐるしてくるし。脳みそ、混ざりすぎ。

Last year, Charlie wasn't tall enough to go on the "Scary" rides but this year, he has grown a lot taller and yes he CAN go on the rides!
But he was very happy to go on the kiddie rides,
like this one and

of course merry go round.

so good to see the kids enjoy themselves and there is notning more rewarding than seeing them smile.

それから、（まだ続くんかい！）今年からはじめたプロジェクトライフ、折り返し地点の6月に入ってから、危うくなっていましたが続けています。

みなさんはどうでしょうか？

なんでも続けることは簡単ではないですが、決めたことなら出来る限り努力しようと思います。

ほんで、つらくなったらやめる。（あきらめ早い！！）
